Live Oak on the West Mesa” was a gift to the SMFC.

The SMFC Board of Directors contributed time, energy and support to preparing and reviewing the Plan: Brooke Bulkley, Mark Holmgren, Anita Abbott (ex-Officio), Darrell Potts, Carol Potts (ex-Officio), Julie Kummel (newly elected), and Karin Niles.

Cathy Murillo has been our special counselor and public relations expert.

The costs of the publication of this Plan were partially funded through a grant from the Fund for Santa Barbara. The Goleta Valley Land Trust provided the initial funding that launched this Plan, and other Coalition efforts. We thank them and the hundreds of individual contributors who have given us the flexibility to think big.

We owe much of our success to Dr. Barbara DeWolfe, whose encouragement and support throughout this effort was critical to the completion of the Stewardship Plan.

Version 1.1:
Dr. Robert Cummings provided the information for Appendix H. Paul and Sandy Russell provided the moth and butterfly list in Appendix I.

Web Presence: Will McClintock and Lou de Bourbon assembled our HTML and PDF versions of the Plan for the web. Lou took primary reponsibility for the inclusion of new material and for mounting the entire Plan on the web.

Thank you all, very much.
